Hi All.
I Have spent many hours reading the different threads on here for the xbox 360. I have down custom firmwares before, but not on xbox. Have done ps2, psps.
I am in need of a couple of bits of advice.
Am I right in thinking I can flash the xbox to play copied games using the usb method, without attching it to my PC, I ask as I Have a laptop.
Is it possible to play games of the harddrive, I do not think so but am not 100% sure
Whats the best method to copy a backup of a game, dvd decrypter etc...
WHat is the best custom firmware and dash etc..for playing back ups.
I have not yet purchased my xbox360 I get paid in 5 days. So models to avoid etc...
Thank really appreciatte any opinions/ info

caution if buying used lite on's which are back from repair latley can not be flashed as yet you can flash the benq which has the same tray many poeple think the new lite on is the benq
thanks for the info
would I be right in thinking its best to try and get a samsung drive.
Does anyone know is it possible to run homebrew apps like those on the psp once the 360 is flashed, Id guess yes but have not found much info on this.

Hey,
Your getting confused between xbox "hacking" and xbox 360 "hacking". Xbox has the homebrew etc etc and is definatly more adavanced. At the moment all we can do is flash the drive so it reads burnt dvd's as xbox 360 discs. No homebrew, no apps, no new dash. If you wanna get real adavanced you can get linux on your box but that isn't for the faint hearted and a good knowledge of linux is essential.
