I have a few friends who have Wii's that don't want any soldering done so I was looking at Wii-clip options. 2 are d2c2, 1 d2c, and 1 is a d2b. I have been reading and I read mix things everywhere. I was looking at the d2sun or the d2pro9. What would be the easiest way to get these done? As far as Wii-Clips I see many versions. I would like to just order 1 type of chip and 1 style clip to take care of all of them, Is that possible? And last soldering points, Do you solder all of the points for every style chip? Please help this old Wii-Key user out.
Your best bet in a mod chip right now is the D2ProV2. For now it covers just about all the drives (D2B, D2C, D2C2, D2E) and the install if soldered is only 9 wires. As for the clip, you will need to order one specific to the D2Pro chip. I will mention tho that the clips arent a really good solution and a lot of people get mixed results when using them. This is due to the points on the clip being so tiny and easy to damage. If you are going to try a clip be very careful when seating it and once its seated dont remove it.

Thanks for the advise. Just to confirm I would use clip V4C for all Wii's right? Are all of the solder points the same no matter what chip set is in the Wii?
