Backing Up Wii Game to SD card with Waninkoko problem

Hi, I was backing up a Wi game, and am using a 2gb sd card... I started backing the game up, and found out it was gonna take about 3 hours for 1.5gb, so... I waited... it finally got done, and I cut/pasted the file from the sd card to my computer, and put the sd card back in the wii, hit the button to continue, but it gave me a SD Mount error... Ret = 0 or something like that... I tried it again, at 128mb split file, to see if I did something wrong, and it gave me the same error... what exactly am I doing wrong, or is there a faster way to copy to an SD card without a modded Wii (my modchip hasn't arrived yet, but, I am trying to prepare a backup to test to make sure it works right prior to it arriving!)
