xbox live isn't part of a game itself. . .


but to answer your question, yes you can go online with a downloaded game.

you can still go on LIVE, but it'll send a list to microsoft. the list contains what games you play, original or backup.

if your game isn't properly stealth patched, it's only a matter of time before the ban hammer drops on the system.


if you want to play on LIVE with no problems, don't mod the system and use originals. if you already modded, best bet is to get a second system and leave it unmodded. seeing as the new ones have the liteon, it'll stay unmodded.
