Im thinking of getting a ps3 off Amazon.com and i suppose that would be a ntsc ps3, then i will be buying gta iv pal version from australia will that work and will it lag or anything?

(i live in AUSTRALIA)




Oooor could i get the gta iv ntsc version and that wouldnt lag over the internet since im playing in australia?

omg one last edit, with the power cables be different to the ones in australia and will the voltage be different?

American PS3 will work in AUS, and yes you will need to change the power cable. Good news is the cable is the same as a computer cable. With online games it varies as to who you can play online with.

GTAIV's online is not region locked so you can connect to anyone, no matter which version you buy. However it will most likely lag a fair bit anyway. COD4 is also not locked anymore but used to be restricted to the region of the game. (Eg, AUS could only play with AUS UK, NZ etc.) It really varies though depending on the developers of the game.
