Hiya. I just bought a PSP today from a friend and I'm not too sure what I need to do to mod it and get games up and running. My firmware version is 2.80. Do I need any special programs? Do I need to update it? Will all of the games I download work with my version, or will there be issues? Please help.

you need the 2.80 downgrader to get to 1.50 then you can instal cfw from there

and just download the 2.80 downgrader from dark alex's web site

Now download the 3.52 M33 update files then update to 3.52 M33-3 and then to 3.71 M33 then 3.80 M33 which has the automatic update feature and then update using that, full guide here:

Okay, I've updated all the way up to 4.01 M33-2. Can I format my memory card to clean it up and make space? Also, how can I run PSX iso's on it?
