I have a NTSC wii(ver 3.3) with D2C chip and Im planning on getting D2Ckey with clip for it. I know D2Ckey doesnt support games from other region (i.e PAL) so I found all these different softwares like RegioFrii , Freeloader and brick blocker. I was wondering which one I should use to be able to play PAL games on my NTSC.

something else I wanted to add : is it true that even with running regionFrii and freeloader on your ISO, you might end up bricking your wii??

D2Ckey does have region override. You have 1 extra wire (L) and have to Close Jumper 1 and keep open Jumper 2 for NTSC USA version Wii systems.

Freeloader will not work with 3.3U firmware. Some of the region patches can Trucha sign backups. If it uses that method then your backups will be blocked from playing due to 3.3U firmware.

In order to play these backups that have been Trucha Signed you will need to use Gecko OS (Homebrew) to boot them.

The way you should go is WiiBrickBlock the backuo disc and enable the region override on the Wiikey as I have explained above. You will be 100% safe from region brick if you do it that way.

Thanks for your response, just one more thing: somebody just posted a link for downgrading the firmware so that I can run freeloader do you suggest that?
and since my D2Ckey has region override, this means that I dont need to run regionfrii on my ISO files?
