I have my 360 connected to a laptop running vista home premium and when i use media centre on the 360 it works fine but if i go to media then music it can't find the i.p address. Anyone have any idea why? I've tried the xbox site but can't find a solution. I'm using an ethernet cable to connect. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Bobduff,

I'm not sure if this is going to be helpful, but I know with Vista you have to set up your Xbox as an extender. Something like that. Here's a link about playlists and why you may not see them although it didn't mention anything about IP not being found?
