ok first i just wanna say i'm not afraid of doing one or the other.
is the modchips more stable then flash ? or is there any advantage to use a modchips instead of flashing ?

witch one would you do if you where about to do it yourself ?

the only time you want a chip is if you have the hitachi 79 drive.
everything else is a straight forward flash.

i've read that people getting banned on live with a modded frimware and original game ... and most of the chip got an autodetect to shut itself down if its an original , is that true ?

If you mod your console and play on XBL, you will get banned sooner or later. We don't know how MS detects consoles for banning. There were cases where modded consoles that played backups only when offline got banned as well.

Simplest solution is to get two xbox 360s and use one for only originals.

During the 1st ban wave nearly everyone with a chip was banned. Take from that what you will.

xinh---The only way not to get banned is to not mod your xbox360. Any type of modding your xbox360 will result in a chance of being banned period. But there are some precautions you could use. Iextreme with stealth patched games will lower your chances of getting banned. Hope this helps.

don't forget about properly burnt discs. Verify your discs every time to prevent bans from bad backups.
