i usually use verbatim to burn my games. i bought memorex because the were cheap. they wont finish burning. if they do they only play for 1 minute. is the specific settings i should use in xbc?

That is because THEY ARE CHEAP. Your first post answered your own question, you bought memosux discs and they are low quality discs with low quality dye. So your burner is most likely having I/O errors and not completing your burning process. And the way to fix that is to go get some quality DVD's.

Saving a few dollars on DVD's is not worth having to replace your 360 DVD drive laser when you wear it out, just go back out and get the Verbatim discs that have been working for you.
