Updated With Wrong Region, Is There A Fix?

I accidentally updated with the new region-free JAP-based Soul Caliber update on my US console. Now it says "disk is not recognized" or goes to a black screen, but only for this game. Is there a fix for this?

Actually, I meant I get the "disk is unreadable" message sometimes, instead of just the black screen. Is there anyway I can download the "right" update for the game? I know some games, like Eternal Sonata, won't play without the right update.

toad i have never heard of downloading a wrong update. and i have been gaming on xbl for quite some time. i am assuming whatever game you are trying to play is either corrupt or you have a bad dvd.

Thanks. Yeah...it did seem kind of weird... I guess the patch was bad on the iso, because the disks were fine...
