Verizon has officially started offering FiOS TV service in New York City. The company had already been selling internet service in the city over their fiber optic network and earlier this month year they finally the necessary agreements with city and state officials to begin providing television service as well. The first customers will be able to start using FiOS TV on Wednesday. It will be a few years before the service is available to all of the city's 3.1 million households.

Its going to take a few years to cover the most important city in the US, i wonder how many years it will take to come to my town.
