PLEEEAAASSSSE help!! Trying to use my old phone b/c new one broke but need restriction code for nokia 6030

Have you tried a New SIM?

I am putting my new SIM card in from my phone but I still get the restriction message. When I first bought the phone the company was Cellular One but that company was bought out by AT&T which is now the service provider for this area. THANKS for any help you can provide me.

As soon as I put the card in and turn it on it says "Phone Restricted". When I hit the undo, it says "Enter Restriction Code"

OK thanks.
Before we hardlock this phone, we must be sure it works on Cellular One.
Cellular One phones are not normally locked.
What SIM are you trying?

I am inserting my AT&T sim card. I was reading over several of postings and I think my phone is hard locked already (dummy me had tried to unlock it prior to finding your site). Oh yeah, I researched more about Cell One and this company changed to Cingulair then AT&T. The last time I used it was when Cell One was in operation.

Has your research indicated whether it was;
Cellular One DCS (Dobson. Formerly NPI Wireless)
or
Cellular One DCS
There are several versions of Cellular One. It depends on what part of the Country you had the service.

Your code:Try this ONCE and ONCE only. Remember,
you only get 3 to 5 tries.
If you enter the same code two times,
that is two tries.
To enter code:
Make sure battery is charged.
Remove SIM first.
Power on.
Ignore ?Insert SIM?
Press the # key.
then press the "star" key (*) quickly to get the P and W and +
Press * 3 times quickly for (p) \
Press * 4 times quickly for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times quickly for (+) /
and the rest of the code---
Begin with # and end with #.
IMPORTANT!!
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only have about two seconds.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code. STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked.
Used up all your free tries!!
If nothing happens, code stays on the screen:
Put in a NEW SIM from a new Network.
Power on.
Select UNDO with NEW SIM in phone.
Enter code as above.
Select OK.
If it does not work, tell me: What happened? What message
you got. What codes you tried.
Above all, answer.
