Wii Modchip D2pro with clip!!!!

Hello I want to mod my wii and have had previous experience modding xbox and ps2's. I did the Nintendo scene tracker online to see what is inside my wii and it told me I:

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C

There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.

I read the D2pro was the best one to order for this. But i just read that the d2pro dont work with the d2c chip. Is that correct?
I ordered the 9 wire d2pro.

Any help would be appreciated. If that is not the right one then let me know which one i need. Thanks.

No your fine. That chip should work out good for you. Not sure where you heard that from but they were incorrect.

If you have D2C2 chip then a regular D2Pro will not work. make sure you get a D2pro Rev2, that will work with all wii's.

I tore apart my wii last night and looked on the chip. It says gc2-d2c. So that is just a d2c wii right?

No way of knowing, D2C2 chips look just the same. There is no definite way of telling which are D2C and which D2C2 as most of the signs I have heard of have also been contradicted.

But as I said, it doesn't matter. Just get the Rev2 chip.

ok thanks. I ordered the D2pro and the clip from modchip.ca and they are out of stock. A little pricey anyways 110 shipped. Seemed kinda high to me. They wanted to send me the Wasabi2 and clip. Will that work or should i buy from someone else?

Anyone know of a cheap d2pro seller?
