Does the D2pro work with D2c Chips???

Like the title states! I ordered a D2pro after doing some research then found a post on this forum stating the d2pro will NOT work with the d2c chip. Is that correct?

It says on there website that it works on ALL Wii Drives!

D2pro will work with the D2C chip, it will not work with D2C2. You will need D2Pro V2 for that.

I fell into getting one that works with all drives including D2E and it has a timing issue apparently with the D2C drives. I tried attaching a wire with 3.5" to 5" connecting the chip to the clip (keeping the two separate from the old solder point) this didn't work. I am waiting to get a programmer (another $30 buck on top of the $107) I spent to fix the product I received. My advice get ver2 only, unless absolutely you have the D2E chip.
