hi all! complete noob here

i am running cfw 3.71 m33-4 on a fat psp with the 1.5 kernel.

i was wondering how to upgrade to the 4.01 m33-2 update.

i have downloaded the 4.01 file and the kernel add on, but i have no idea if i can do the update with just those files.

i am one of those schmucks that bought a psp with the cfw already installed, so i know basically nothing about what i am doing. i also have no idea if i have a pandora battery, or just a regular one.

any help or (nice) opinions would be greatly appreciated.

a guide to install the 4.01 M33

To install 1.50 addon
Download the 1.50 addon for 4.01 M33 from here
http://www.dark-alex.org/index_psp.php

After, download the 1.50 update eboot from here
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/4

Rename it to 150.PBP Put the on the root of your ms. like X:\150.PBP.
Put the folder in GAME folder. Install
