Have I broke my wii?

After trying to install the D2Pro (v3 i guess) (9 wire) I did not get the drive to spin or eject the disk. I did remove the chip, and everything was working fine, but after resoldering the chip, the problem started. The wii wil in stanby burn a red light at the front, when pressing power on the remote, or pressing the eject button, it wil turn green in a 0,1 sec, then it turns off automaticly. Have tryed without the chip, the same thing happend (well, guess not that i can make it run without the chip, kinda lost the C point, but was told to solder directly from the chip)

Is my drive dead?

PS The wii is working fine without the drive connected

You may want to check some of the fuses, if you shorted something you could have blown one of them. But it does sound like the drive is shot.
