if i get a 30$ router compared to a 60$ router will there be a difference in gameplay or connection at all?....and witch router is the best to get?

There are reasons why some routers cost more, they have more features.
Here in the UK we've found that a Netgear DG834GT or DG834N router is the best to use, at least those of us with Be Broadband.
Whatever you do, if Thompson sell routers in the US, dont buy any!Most wont let the PS3 connect whilst other do but then disconnect you all the time.

np, I myself use a DG834Gv3 router, they'll be cheaper than the GT, but just make sure you get a v3 or v4, if you cant get any of them ge thte GT and filaing that the N.

If you get a router with gaming in mind, make sure it has a QoS engine at the least.

I have had good experience with the linksys wrt54g with DDWRT firmware installed. It's a good way to get a good router for cheap.

I also have Linksys router providing for 2 PCs and my PS3 . Never had any probs, defo recommended. :)
