Basically I tried to make a compilation from few different dvd. I cut vob files and put them in the same folder. I attached them with VobEdit then used Ifoedit to craete IFO's file. Most of the time it works pretty well but sometime I hit into a weird problem. some part of my final movie doesn't have sound. It's like some movies will keep the sound and others won't. Another problem is that I cannot get Vobextra with IfoEdit, so my movie doesn't play correctly. Maybe you guys can help. I will greatly appreciate your help. Is there a better way to edit movies?

I would probably sugguest, capturing the movie realtime as an AVI or mpg file via capture card or software, as cutting vobs and editing them is tricky in the least and vobs do not just contain audio and video files aslo navigation links etc. Though capturing is the longer option, but you could edit alot easy in many different programs. You can also cut and basic edit in TMPGEnc but have never tried it. But will need avi/mpg files initially.

most of what you want to do is covered in the guide.

We can help with the rest, it is pretty simple really, once you have done it once...
