I am having a problem but not sure it is Nero related. I am using Nero 8, with Nero Vision to burn DVD's. These movies are being sent to me via computer all ready decoded(?), so when I download them all I am doing is then opening Nero Vision and adding them, and burning the disc. The problem is that once the disk has been burnt, it freezes in my standalone and has blotches (multicolored squares) in it, and won't play. The movie extensions are AVI, so my question is: Is my problem related to Nero? I burnt one movie and it played great, but all the others won't play. I did the exact same thing each time but am not sure what is going on and I hate to waste dvd's. any help would be appreciated. I don't use Dvd Decrypter or Shrink. As the movies are decrytped before I receive them. Also, using Nero Vision is there a way to change the movie so that it is full screen and not have the black edges around the movie.

I am finally able to update my post. I bought a new DVD player and for the most part that solved my problem. I still have a couple DVD's that won't play in the player. i think that is movie related though, because i use the exact same process to burn each movie, and some play and some don't. they are also burnt on the same disks.
