Ok , so I have been fixing up a few I picked up cheap/got in trades etc. They have had no video, or RRoD. I can fix those fine, but i am stuck on a GOOD way to do this one:

2 rings (over heated) So i replaced the xclamps, new thermal compound etc, but all i can get is 2 rings.

From what I understand I need to let the board overheat so the solder can remelt like in the RRoD. But the thing is the board doesnt heat up if it thinks it's allready overheated.

Now, if i put a little pressure on the board (flex it slighty) and turn it on, I can get it to RRoD. Witch is what I need it to do to overheat. but the second I stop putting pressure on it, it 2 rings again. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

I will try this after work. Is this to accomplish pulling the pins on the cpu closer into the board to get a connection? Thanks again :)

I do know that if it's to tight it will go to 2 rings.Maybe try backing the screws just a tad.Same thing goes the other way also.It can also go 2 rings from not being tight enough. As for the over heating I just leave fan pluged in in remove the shroud.Let it run for 10 mins until it's nice in hot. Some other things for you to try.
