Change drive from Hitachi 78 to Samsung h943

I have an xbox 369 with a Hitachi 78 drive. The drive is now bricked
I have the key from the hitachi drive.
I am planning to buy a Samsung h943 drive and replacing the hitachi
please let me know if the steps below that I will do are correct. I an NOT trying to hack the firmware, I am trying to do these steps and keeping the Samsung's original firmware

1. hook up new samsung drive to PC
2. use 360 firmware toolbox ver 3.0 to read firmware from samsung drive
3. paste the key from the original firmware into the key & click on replace & save this file
4. mtkflash w /m saved.bin

Please let me know if I am missing out any step or if there is any other advise that you can give me

all you have to do is flash the samsung drive with the hitachis FW and you will be done. however, if you havent bought the samsung yet, you might want to buy another hitachi 78 as all you will have to do is replace the dvd drives mobo and you will be done.
