So far I have only noticed the video lag on Guitar Hero 3.

It happens only in Hard and Extreme mode. Usually during alot of HammerOn/PullOffs or when I use Star Power.

The video lags and stutters during those moments (Most noticeable). But the music doesn't lag/stutter.

I am using a Pelican Pro Cooler (Also known as the Air Flo Max) (USB powered) and I am using the video out on it (It covers the AV slot and has a selctable pass through. Options are Component, Composite, s video, and VGA). I use Composite (Because I have a regular old TV.)

I play Half-Life 2 (Orange Box) and BioSchock and NEVER notice any video lags. Which puzzles me because I would consider those to cause more stress on the GPU/CPU... any help? I have NEVER had any RRODs.

there is in game video calibration, because this "lag" happens in the guitar hero series. go to options on the main menu and adjust as needed.

I have done this. Its for HDTVs, not for SDTVs. I get a 0ms lag. (Which means none).

What is happenning is that when there is a lot of stuff happening onscreen the video stutters, I get low FPS or something... Music doesn't stutter though.

do you think there is something wrong with the disk? Try borrowing or renthing Guitar Hero 3 and try it.
