How fast does the 360 hard drive fill up?

Ok so I finally got my 360 Pro the other day (Lot 803) and what do I see today? They're going to lower the price of the 360 60GB to what I paid for the 360 20GB. I haven't opened up mine yet so technically I could try to exchange it, but that would mean risking getting too high a lot number. So I guess what I'm asking is, does the 360 20GB hard drive fill up very quickly? Is it worth trying to exchange and risk getting a higher unflashable lot number? The price is supposedly going to drop in September so all the 360s might have lite-on drives by then...

depends on what type of person you are. If you buy a lot of arcade games or classic xbox games from the marketplace i figure you can fill it up fairly quick. Me personally i do not buy a lot of that stuff so i have not even come close to filling mine up with just a few arcade games, themes, and game saves.

if i had to do it all over again i would go for the 60 gig especially since they are making it to where yoy play your games off of your hd.

if you have a media pc and you'l just stream stuff through it and not download stuff on your 360 you'll be fin but download movies a lot of demos and videos your going to fill it in a day i know i could but do you really want to download huge files on your 360 or just do it on your pc my preference is pc since i hooking it up to my tv so same experience

Assuming the 360 can take any size hdd you'd be better off getting a larger one & fit that,here in NZ a 500GB HDD 16mb cache would set you back around $120.00,in pounds that'd be say $40.00 pounds or about $60 US,to be honest i wonder why they bother fitting those small hdd's

I don't plan on downloading movies and videos, I was wondering more about added game content. As in purchasing a game but then downloading new levels and such. Might get a few classic arcade games. Other than that I don't expect to put much on the hd. Is it possible to download game content to your pc and eventually put it on your xbox? If that's the case then it's probably not an issue :)

MS HDD's must be real special then,nah they make more money off a smaller hdd coz of mark up,go do some pricing comparing large with small notice anything.

you can't put any thing from your hdd to your pc but a 20 gb harddrive fro just game is good enough and if you buy something you can delete it and re download as many times as you want

Jewdaddy, you are a nice guy, everyone gets a laugh out of your (unintentional) funny posts. I think you worry too much, man. Just mod your 360, and if you get banned, you get banned. Or if the harddrive fills up, just delete stuff, instead of worrying about it. You're gonna cause yourself to get a heart attack with all this worrying.
