1) I have CFW 3.52 M33-4 on a phat PSP. I want to make a Pandora battery and magic stick for my friend's PSP - He has 3.73 w/Sony firmware, and hes also on a phat PSP. Its been a long time since I've updated my CFW and I never made a magic battery/stick before. I googled for Pandora guides and I'm confused as heck cause each guide is different. Even a guide that was only 10% complete(???). I saw the Pandora guide sitcky on this board but since my CFW is old I'm not sure if I'll be able to follow that one or not?

2) I have a couple of Pandora zip files from a while back, the Universal PSP unbricker/downgrader by Team C+D, and the Pandora GUI. I'm not sure if I should use these either because its been a long while since I've updated my CFW.

Thanks...

Its not to late. I have used a pandory + magic mem stick on ofw 2.xx and i have used it on fw 4.01 (latest)... i too was stuck on old cfw (3.03OE-C lol) but i made one and i assure you it works!

If you want to upgrade your psp you can jump to any m33 cfw out there...

as for your friend, he will be able to use pandora + MMS (magic memory stick) when you make one.

As for making one...just read carefully and do one step at a time...good luck!

Thanks bandit008, but in the Universal PSP unbricker/downgrader there is this step:

- Run "installer" through the firmware on the PSP. This application
will create the firmware files on the root of the Memory Stick, as
well as msipl.bin.
- Connect the Memory Stick again via the USB connection of the PSP.
- Execute "msipl" application on the PC with the msipl.bin to write
the IPL to memory stick.

The last step, how do you execute the msipl.bin file?

Or should I use the GUI installer?

bandit008, you made a pandora + MMS from 3.03OE-C? Which guide did you use?

If I can still make a pandora + MMS on 3.52 M33-4 which guide do I follow? All I could find was this:

You can make a pandora + Magic memory stick from any psp with any cfw. it has to be custom firmware though...You can also make a pandora + MMS on a psp with ofw 1.50 but only 1.50... These are the guides i used:

or
http://igizmore.blogspot.com/2007/08/mak...tery-magic.html
(They are both the same except in igizmore you get highlited examples...)

to use the pandora + magic memory stick guide:

it worked thanks!

It brought my friends PSP back to 1.5 but I followed the 1 Stop Guide to get 3.52 M33-4 cfw on there. Thanks a lot for your help!
