Hi, I have an Xbox 360 with the samsung M28 drive, and my computers chipset is on my new mobo, (Asus Pk5-E) Its chipset is (Intel P35/G33/G31)
Is there ANY possible way i can flash my 360? My computer is very new, i just built it less than a month ago, top of the line - New hardware :P. Im hoping somehow i can do this since my technology is new :)? loll.
Hmph. lol. alright well, my 360 already had the ring of death, after some fine tuning i fixed it, last thing i need is to brick the drive lol. So i did some reading and read i can buy a VIA PCI SATA card. is this the one i need?
you could use the ntsf dos method with your burner. the external HD wont do it for you though. i would just buy a floppy drive, or a USB stick, would make it a lot easier for you.
and that card 'should' work for you. however, i would look for a non-raid card as you do not want raid. also, the external sata slot will not work for you when you go to flash it, you have to use channel one.
