hey there everyone,

im just curious over this wii bricking matter.
im fairly new to this and im unsure of what to do.

im getting a d2pro9 chip next week, but im paranoid that my wii might get bricked.
my wii is PAL.

so how exactly, does the wii get bricked?
ive heard that if you install updates from a PAL game to a PAL wii, the wii will never get bricked right? because they are from the same region.

so is this true? can someone help me clarify this issue, because its been bugging me.

There is information about this all over the forum.

Yes, if you only update from disks from your own region you cannot brick your wii. You should never update from an out of region disk.
