This Wii has a Wiikey in it, but I suspect it may be a clone or something else. I bought it from a member here and it's works as stated. I was just wondering why it won't play Truca signed games without Gecko even after downgrading to 3.0u? Also it won't load Brawl on a Verbatim Dual Layer even with Gecko.

Anyone has any ideas, before I open it up?

How do you know the games that don't play are trucha signed ?

If you are not on 3.3 it would seem that the cause is something else.

It was already at 3.3 when I got it. I downgraded to 3.0 and even went back up to 3.2. Problems games I've tried = newer Nintendo ones (Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, Wii Fit and Brawl) and Bloom Blox. I thought newer games are supposed to be Truca since and they are the ones giving me problems. Like I said they all will play though Gecko except Brawl.

I know several people who downgraded from 3.3 to 3.2 and all trucha signed disks started working correctly again, which is why I would think that something else is causing the problem.

What that problem is I don't know, but some bright soul may have an idea :)

I have a similar problem. I used to be able to play modified versions of Guitar Hero at 3.2 I downgraded to 2.0 and then upgrade to 3.2 and the modified version don't work.

But I have an idea. What if you upgrade to the latest firmware. And then downgrade directly to 3.2 (not lowing to another version and then upgrading to 3.2)

I've tried updating and downgrade several times to different firmware including 3.2. I also ran the Wiikey 1.9s via GCOS since it wouldn't direct boot. After all that I'm left where I started. If the dual layer brawl end up being my only sticking point I may not worry about it.
