I have a PSP Slim with CFW 4.01 M33-2 and although it was working fine for a few weeks since the release of said CFW, just recently all ISO, CSO and emulator files are not working correctly. Everytime I load up a game, the dircection keys or analog stick does not respond, it will just either start a game and the charater will keep moving forward and no other movement is allowed or in the case of Capcom CSP1 2.31 and CSP2 it would not even load the list. This has happened to only one of 4 Slims I have modded. I can't figure out as to why it would not work. Is there any work around or anyway to fix this? Is there a way to either use Time Machine or a downgrade that is possible with Pandora? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I though you could not downgrade a Slim to 1.50? Or am I missing something?

you can't downgrade a slim to 1.50. It will surely be bricked. use pandora to reset the whole system....I would guess...

ugh you got slim, hehe, sorry, i didn´t read slowly and excatly...
Yep use pandora battery and magic memory stick
but when you got cfw i don´t sugest you to go on 4.01m33, i think that is better to go on 3.90m33 or stay on 3.71m33

That's the thing, all the other Slims I modded are fine, I even got a Phat also that is fine, all runnning 4.01 m33-2 but just this one is not working. Thank god it's not mine, friends actually. We tried to use Pandora but nothing, still the same. We gave up after a few attempts and decided to use official firmware, called Sony and have it replaced. We will see what happens. Will keep everyone posted.

Update: Funny, I just got a message from my friend. Apparently,Sony is sending him a shipping label to send in his unit minus cables and battery and they are sending him a new one.

Just download the actual Sony software through to your PC from ther website, place it into to your MS and basically run the update. It will then make it official software. My friend got a brand new PSP a week later from Sony after he sent it out (serial number was completely different from his previous model).

that wont work sometimes, DA put a DADADADADA error when trying to run official firmware in a custom firmware. You have to use pandora, instead of picking cfw go for the ofw.

@EnigmaCM, its only the emu rite ? Then try reinstalling it. Use this guide

I have a correction on this: it was any game, whether UMD, CSO, ISO or emu. Turns out the best I could figure was somehow the DPad and the analog stick got all screwed up somehow. Every time you started a game, whatever character you picked will continuously keep moving to the right, making the game unplayable. So what we ended up doing, as a test, we downloaded the official 4.01 from Sony, placed it on the MS and then upgraded the PSP to see if that would clear up the problem but, although the firmware took (now official Sony 4.01), the problem was still there. So I basically told him to give it a shot and call Sony for repairs or replacement (he only had it for a month) and sure enough, without question, he was a new one. He originally had the grey PSP and he was sent a Piano Black PSP so we know it was not a fix and more of a replacement.
