hey, just wondering which DVD is most suitable to burn mario kart onto using imgburn
and at what speed?

It needs to be a DVD. Verbatim is a good brand.

can someone please outline the steps involved in the process of burning iso's onto a DVD please?

im new to this, and i feel so dumb - -'

1) Install imgburn.
2) Put the blank DVD into the drive.
3) Click the 'burn image to disk' button.
4) Burn the image to a disk. 4x is a good speed to use.
5) Play the game.

And always remember to use good quality media like verbatum. 99% of the problems people have with their backup games are because of the cheap disks they use.

well ive got a verbatim DVD+RW/ will it work if i use it to burn the iso?

RWs are not recommended but you can try.

okay, how bout burning topspin3 onto TDK DVD+R?
and at what speed with imgburn?

Like penguin98 said burn at 4X speed. TDKs are fine I suppose but to be 100% sure just buy quality media such as Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.
