Xbox making my tv go bad? EDIT: FIXED PROBLEM

Currently i have my 360 sitting right next to my tv where my dvd player used to be and recently my tv has been acting up, black bars running parallel its an older tv (about 5 years old) its not an lcd or anything so i am not upset about it. I plan on getting an HDTV sooner or later.
Just wondering if anyone else has encountered an issue similar to this.

well i doubt its the 360 causing it, and i wouldnt consider 5 years to be an old tv, sure alot better technology is out there now but you are probablly in the 85% range of america who owns older tvs. hdtvs are still too pricey, just give them a lil more time to come down.

Not anything like enough info...

Does it do it on all program sources and are there any other symptoms... does it do it with an aerial input. that kind of thing..

Now it does it on all sources, but even more noticeable when i have it on the a/v input when i use the 360. And I am in the U.S. and have Comcast cable television. its a crappy tv anyway so its no big deal for me, got it at wal-mart so i knew it wouldnt have a long shelf life but i was starting college and wanted a tv.

After a random trial i unplugged the ethernet cord from the unit and all is well, it seems that it is and issue with my pc not my xbox
