AVI - DVD Question

Trying to turn AVI's into DVD using DVDFlick. For a while it worked great, the movie would burn with no problem.

For the past few weeks the AVI's are burning right, but I'm getting no audio and I'm not sure why.

Do you mean the DVD has no audio when played on the standalone player, or played back on the PC.
DVD Flick saves the output to a file folder, do those files play ok.

You can check for the presence of the audio track by dragging VTS_01_1.VOB from the video folder onto the likes of 'GSpot'.
It should show the type of audio present and if the codec is installed.


A media player like VLC does not require external codecs, it should play the audio - if the audio is present.

Both...I downloaded an AVI wanted to burn onto a DVD so my DVD player can play the movie (has to be in VOB format). I used DVD Shrink to convert into a VOB, and for some reason the video burned well, but when I load in Windows Media Player there's no audio..but when I put into a DVD player I get "Cannot Read Disc".

But if I play the movie in Nero's Movie player there's no issues.

Just a bit confused because for a long time I could convert avi's to DVD without any problems.
