I got a d2pro9 v3 working fine. All my backups work except Big Brain Academy. Its trying to get me to update the game but my fw is already at 3.3u.

The game might be pal but I thought it wasnt.

Will pal games still try to force an update even if your ntsc system doesnt need it?
Any way of stopping big brain academy from trying to force this update so I can play it?

Any out of region disk will try and update as the news and forecast channels for that region are not there and the update will create them. It won't update the firmware if you at a later version already. However you will get duplicate channels so you should run out of region iso's through brickblocker first.
