please help!
i have image burn and schtrom to extract my games. i succesfully backed up over 25 of my games, yet my father in law came over and installed a new anti virus in my computer and evr since i have not been able to burn any games i have six new dvd dl coasters that are useless and a waste of money. can any one help and let me know what i could do i checked the layer break and that is still correct. do i have to turn off the anti virus?

first of all post the error log for imgburn, secondly did you change media, thirdly get rid of the anti-virus crap. do that then get back to us.

Well, if the only change that was made to the system was the installation of an anti-virus then that may be your problem. Although i have had 3 different anti-virus programs on my system and none of them have ever caused the burner to stop doing it's job.

The only time that i had this happen was after reformatting my system.

maybe do a system restore to before the antivirus was installed - if that doesnt work u can easily undo the restore ...

also - make sure ur still changing the book type to DVD-Rom ...
i do that w/evey single backup, just to be safe ...
