Hey, I have a phat 3.95 GEN semi bricked PSP after trying to downgrade it using UPMS, but I didn't exactly follow the instructions. So, right now I'm trying to restore it by using the recovery menu, but the thing is, whenever I try to use the run program PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/etc, nothing happens. Can anyone help me?

I've softmodded my battery and it seems to boot into service mode just fine, but the memory stick light doesn't flash. also I'm using Vista, does that affect the "easy installation" in any way?

I tried that but I can't properly format the memory stick using the PSP, so I did it through my computer and I never got that final screen that says "PSP MS IPL INSTALLER." Other then that, I followed everything, word by word.

Well, what I mean is that I was looking at the guide you showed me, and I never got the last screen, the one where it installs the IPL. And when I do boot up my PSP after everything, all I get is a black screen, the power light is on, but the memory stick isn't being read.
