I need some help. i have recently had my psp installed with firmware version 4.01 m33-2 by a friend.i myself am not the most competent person in dealing with these things. I have a eboot.pbp file of a game that i am looking to play and have put this in its own folder in the game folder. when i look on the menu this shows as Corrupted data. Can anyone point me in the right direction with what to do from here??

wel this is how the game should go...
mso:PSP/GAME/(name of game)/Eboot.pbp

if it doesnt work, its probably corrupted

sometimes it might have to go like this too...if its a homebrew or emulator

ms0:PSP/GAME150/(name of game)/Eboot.pbp

Its me and im here...so yea thats all i wanted to say

I am having a similar issue. I had a friend install a CFW on my slim PSP and I know where to put the game files, but what happens to me is I can run the game one time and then when I try to load the game again it crashed my psp and i have to fully reset it. any ideas?

Oh! and it only seems to do this with PBP files. cso and iso works perfectly.

I have tried this and also tried to put it into the other game folder. still all i get is Corrupted data message where the game should be. i know its not a problem with the data because my friend gave me the game file and it worked perfectly on his psp. unfortunately he is not in the country for advice.

teckno what pbp file are you trying to run???

and steve, ive hear around that keys files helps sometimes...so you cound try downloading This

and putting it in the same folder as the eboot...
your trying to start a ps1 game right??
or its homebrew??
if its hombrew just download it again,
if its a ps1 eboot, try the link i gave you
and if that doesnt work, im sorry but i cant think of anything else besides that it just doesnt work, and it got corrupted somehow while your friend transfered it to your psp

Its me and im here...so yea thats all i wanted to say

Any PBP... So far I have tried a FF7, Twisted Metal 4, and a few others. I am able to load the game once and play it for a bit. Then if I shut down the PSP and load it up later it wont load the game at all.

If it helps I am running a PSP Slim with Firmware 3.95 GEN - Dunno which that is cause a friend of mine did it.

I found a program that will convert PBP to ISO so I am gonna give that a try and hopefully that will work.
