i just got a psp and i was told that to play a downloaded game from utorrent i needed to uncompress it with winrar and then drag it to the psp i did that and it does not work please help me. my software version is 4.05 and is a slim psp. one more thing somebody ask me what kind of firmware my psp has but i dont know what firmware is.

?.?/ Okay i Need you to go to Setting in the PSP menu then scroll down till you see System Settings enter it by pressing X then Scroll down till you get to System Information press X

you should see something like this

SYSTEM SOFTWARE:4.01 M33
NICKNAME:XxX
MAC ADDRESS:00:13:FE:48:E3:CE

know post what yours says. DO NOT POST YOUR MAC ADDRESS

you cannot get custom firmware. your slim is the new ta-088 that blocks any unofficial ipl.

you will have to wait until a new universal unbricker is out. in the meantime, you can only use the psp the way sony wants you to.
