hi i have a ninja gaiden 2 iso. so i load up the dvd file set layerbreak to 1913760 make speed to 2x and hit burn. is that right. I'm a noob in the xbox360 scene

if you burn using the DVD filr it will have the layer break so you do not havr to set that. only have to set it manually if you burn the iso file

what do you mean if i load up the .dvd file i dont have to write the layerreak but if i load the iso file i need to set the layerbreak

I mean exactly what it says.

The .DVD file is a small file that basically just tells the burner what to burn and how to burn it. It is not the actual file that your burner puts on the disc.

The .ISO file is the large file that is actually burned to the disc. But if all you have is the .ISO file without the .DVD file then you have to manually set the layer break in the burning program so that your burner knows the correct way to burn that file.

If you ever burned CD's before then you can think of it the same as .BIN and .CUE files
The .Cue file is what you have to select with the burning program because it instructs the burner as fr as what to burn and how to burn it, but the .BIN file is the actual file the burner puts on the CD.
