turned it on .blue screen wavy line .what is going on .stays at o%.gave me hdd to my mate he will be trying to format it today.bought a western digital 320 gig to put in it .hope ps3 aint knackered
any help appreciated

Yeah that happens if you turn it off or it loses power while it's writing to the hard drive. It's happened to me once. Just let it run it's course and it'll be fine.
