Confused on which Mod chip I need to order??

Firstly apologies for posting something you may have seen many times already, I've tried to use the search but still wasn't sure whats best for me.

I'm a newbie to this and have recently purchased a Wii with the interest of chipping it myself. The issue is that I've done alot of reading and it seems as if most of the mod chips are having some issues i.e. D2Pro eject issues, WiiKey not playing back ups anymore, Wasabi and wii-clip issues etc... This is where I'm getting confused on what's best to purchase.

According to the Wii tracker database the drive chip I have is D2B with the drive pins not cut (LEH122558xxx), I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best mod chip for me and where to purchase one from within the UK if possible. I don't have any experience in soldering and therefore would consider a solderless chip, I do however have friends who have some experience in soldering.

Buy a wiikey and a wiiclip V3.

Idk where you can get them in the UK.
Try googling.

I agree with elk1007. A wiikey and v3 wiiclip are most likely your best bet if you want to do it yourself. You could also have it sent out to be modded, which should be a little more reliable than a clip, but more expensive.

Most of the issues you see are from people who messed up soldering, had wii-clips come loose or are using cheap media. I've had a wiikey since april 2007 and have NEVER had a problem that wasn't caused by a bad burn.
