Recently I tried to install the 4.xx m33 firmware and it bricked my PSP. With the modchip I was able to recover and put the Epsilon 1.0 BIOS on there. HOWEVER, the onboard flash is now 3.51 instead of 2.71.
Does anybody have a useable (on the UP) flash image of any costum firmware BESIDES the Epsilon BIOS or any way to make it so that I can have the original SONY firmware and a CFW again?
I'd greatly appreciate your help.
If you need to email me my email is walturtle89 at yahoo dot com
The thing is the only image I could find (since I can't find my backup files) was the Epsilon BIOS which requires the onboard flash to be official 2.71. Before this fiasco I had official 3.51/3.30 OE-A.
Now only the onboard flash works since the flash on the UP is incompatible with 3.51.

Yeah, but there should be a direct USB lead into the UP chip. Just put any firmware on that, I think. But I don't really know how they work, so I'm of limited help here.
Well I haven't been keeping up with the forums or the news so I just barely heard about those recently and have no idea how they work. But from how it's sounding it seems like it's my only resort. The UP does have a direct USB lead in the PC, but the PBP files won't work directly to the best of my knowledge, at least from what I've tried. They have to be some flash image. I dunno, I'm a bit lost. I guess if I can't find my backup files and if no one can at least guide me in the right way in the next few days I'll read into the Pandora battery. I just figured since I have direct access to the flashes I would be able to fix it like that, especially since the UP was (at least to my knowledge) big news, I figured SOMEONE else would be well versed in it...
