hey guys
lsn i dont knw if my psp is semi bricked, when i turn it on it shows a blue screen which says : ""setting information is corrupted. press the O button to repair and restore default settings."" but when i press the O button nothing happens.
i can go to recovery, and i copied the recovery folder ino psp/game and i copied the official 3.71 firmware but when i press "Run program as /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP" nothing happens
please i really need help
i was using 4.01 m33-2

try to go to recovery- advanced- format flash1 and reset settings
[i haven't tried this but i think that this can help]

And by the way don't call your threads "Problem with psp, help please" because moderators will close it because of that name.You should name it next time "problem with settings" or "Corrupted settings" etc.

hey sorry 4 late answer.I think you will need pandora and MMS but did you put the psp/game/recovery/eboot.pbp the 4.01 m33 update and name it eboot.pbp and placed the 401.pbp in the same folder?try to place there a 3.90 m33 update.

ya i did what u said exactly but when i press """run program at...."""
nothing happens, the screen just blinks.
but some people are telling me that i messed up my psp and it wont work with pandora battery and mms is that true ?
or will pandora battery and mms work ?

btw this happened after doing an XMB theme, i think i messed up flash 0
so will it work with pandora battery and mms ?
i can take my friend's psp and do it

Hi, I have a similar problem. I used Pandora's Battery to get back to 1.50, but the blue screen keeps popping up.

Same advice really, do you have a pandora as i think for you all that is needed to is re-flash the firmware. Your flash0 is corrupted.
Repartion lflash and then re-flash the firmware.
Techinically your not bricked as the fault does not lie in the IPL more the fact flash0 is damaged and so the PSP cannot boot.
