Is Modchip D2 Pro 9 D2C2 1.4 the latest version

Hello,

I have recently bought a Wii with the Modchip D2 Pro 9 D2C2 1.4.

I was quite nieve and new to this all when it came to chips and didn't realise the various types and newer models.

Can anyone let me know if i have received the latest version or have i been given an older one.

And as far as the firmware software goes, i assume that is the 1.4 on the end, how do i upgrade that to version 2.1?

I think 1.4 is the instillation guide they used.

As far as I can see there is no 1.4 firmware. The only 1.4 version listed on the D2Pro site is the guide version.

More then likely you have 2.1 firmware if you have a D2Pro9 V2 modchip which is perfectly fine for D2C2 drives.
