I bought a D2sun v1.2, presoldered to a wii clip, installed it(it would only work on the D2C2 settings, even though i think my chip is a D2C!!)
The chip worked fine for a couple of days, then like an idiot, i updated to 3.3E firmware.
Anyway, installed Homebrewchannel using the twilight hack, then downgraded the firmware to 3.2E, now no backups work, but the originals are fine.
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated!!

Why downgrade back to 3.2E? I would suggest updating back to 3.3E and see if it will get your backups working again. If any of the backups have been trucha signed use Gecko OS to boot the backup disc.
As for not knowing if the WIi is D2C or D2C2 you can not tell by looking at what the chipset has. Go HERE and see the difference between D2C and D2C2 boards.
