Hey everyone this is my first post. here at after dawn.
This past week. i spend about 2 days downgrading my Slim PSP (with 4.05) down to 4.01 m33(i suceeded...eventually)and im realy happy with what CFW has to offer.
Im pretty new to this hole custom stuff.
but i have ambissions to not give up on something im detemrined to get done.
So my problem i have for you guys is, my girlfriends psp is a PHAT, and i wanted to put CFW on it.
*Now heres the problem its OFW 2.00 (and i know i dont need to pandora to get CFW, because its before ofw 3.00 correct?) i just need CFW files on the MS to do install.
So i need a tip here. whats the best CFW to put on this PHAT. and if you could also offer me some tips on how to do the steps that would be much appreciated.
One other issue i have.
Today i went to go turn on my slim and the battery (that i pandora'd)(and then restored) isnt working..
Psp works fine when plugged into the AC, but just the battery wont work. i tried pandoraing it again and no green light..so i was realy confused and just restored it again, and did what i needed to with it plugged in.
Help?

Use the 2.71 downgrader. It if bricks then you need to use the pandora battery.
What program did you pandora it with ?

thanks guys.
so recimend me in your opinions the best version of m33..
because i still have my MMS that i used on my slim but its CFW 4.01 m33-2
are versions 3.xx m33-x any better? or worse..or any real difference at all?
as for my pandora'd slim battery, i did the jig kick hard mod to it..(i dont know if its called jick kick but thats the had mods name) i just cracked it open. took a hobby knife and scratched the line, did my mod. and it worked. and then i just re opend the battery and took a grafite pencle and filled in the cut i made. and the pandora'd battery was restored.
its been working, like i played it at work on friday. got home went out to the bars. when i went to turn it on on saturday(it was charging but there was no orange light) i figured the battery was fully charged. so i unpluged the AC, went to turn it on. and nothing..
it was the weardist thing.

there is no best cfw, just update your psp to the latest.

So would you advise the jump from 2.00> 1.5> 4.01m33-2?
and gooey, your canadian right.(so am i) why are you still up :P
