The kind folks over at G4(X play) gave Halo3 game of the year over MSG4 and COD4.I could not believe it.Those guys are so biased toward the Xbox360.Or maybe it is just me.

Hard to say if this was in fact biased as it was based on votes. I guess there's a much bigger Halo following out there. However I have always thought that G4 tend to gravitate to the 360. All I watch G4 TV for now is Reviews on the Run or Judgment Day as its referred to in the US. G4 confirmed to me that they were in fact biased against the PS3 when Halo got a special launch day coverage. GTA 4 and Rock Band got the same treatment.
When MGS 4 was released it was never mentioned at all in any of the shows the day it was released. All it got from G4 was a poll on their site asking if gamers were going to buy the special edition MGS4 or normal. X-Play did review the game and gave it a 5/5 but that was the extent of the amount of coverage MGS4 got from G4. I'm sure that they have some kind of an agreement with M$ since your able to buy some of G4's shows on XBL.

Funny how a game that was nominated for GOTY 2007 gets GOTY 2008...biased? I think so...but the funny thing was it won over MGS4 by only like 40 votes.

G4 has seemed biased in the past but they have to think of numbers too. There are a lot more 360 users that consider themselves "hardcore gamers" by watching G4. I play my PS3 for about 8 hours a day no matter what and it's on almost 24/7 but my brother in law can't even be convinced to get updates since he just plays madden all day and watches blu-ray. The PS3 just has a different demographic and G4 really only needs ratings.

It's seams obvious that G4 is in MS's pocket. I quit watching it a while back. I would love to have TECH TV back.
