...and I'm worried that the one I will be buying isn't a real Sony product. I mean, 50 bucks for a 8 gb pro duo card is a pretty sweet deal for me. The thing is, I keep hearing things about Magic Gate, and was wondering if I even need that if my PSP is already modded? (I have a 4 gb Sony Pro Duo from Futureshop which, conincidentally, also cost me 50 dollars.)
Secondly, do I need to do anything to the card after I get it? (I paid someone to mod mine for me, because nobody I know has a PSP). Could I just plug it into the PSP, and be able to put ISOs on it like with my current card?

Thanks for helping a newbie out!
Is your PSP already modded(hacked)?
Does it have a custom firmware already on it?
If yes! once you get the memory card, just put it in the slot.
Go to System>scroll to system Information>go to format memory card>press yes and yes.
Then your set. Connect to pc via USB and you should see your ISO folder created by the formating the card off the psp.
