Ok guys, you probably have tried this but i didn't. After a frustrating week or 2, i kept on going out to buy different brands of dvd's and even a dvd drive. before you guys do that, try this. I had my wiikey configuration dvd drive speed at 6x. I finally thought of changing it to 3x, so i did so. After changing it, my stack of "soon to be diskwalled" all worked. Now i have over 50 backups working from sony dvd+R to maxell dvd-r. even the cheapest dvd-r at radio shack which is named gigaware for 6 dollars for a pack of 50.

Also I think you will wear out your laser faster by using those cheap discs. Not something I would recommend.

brand name is important. some brands use high quality ink dye that won't stress out the laser. and they will have a longer lifespan.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

i am just saying that even disks with bad brands would work, so they wouldn't have to keep getting out and buy different disks. i also use high brands but have just been getting everything i can. I use sony dvd-r and maxell dvd-r and never failed burning on 4-16x on imgburn. i hope this helps everyone who had problems. I also agree to use high brand dvd's
