Red Light Problem On LEH1896***

I have a LEH1896 uk version wii , i have installed solderless wii clip d2c2 pro v3 . When i power on i get red light on chip and drive pulls disc in 3mm at a time . I am told this is a common problem but as yet havnt come across a fix or different chipset reccomendation ?
Please forgive me if it sound a silly question but i am a newbie to this game.

Any ideas Welcome

Assuming the chip ur talking about is a D2Pro 9 wires, I guess u might need to update the firmware of ur chip. Here's an extract from their website :

Maybe that's what causing the issue
