how do i install the hard drive to the eurovox ex 5000 pvr

This receiver can have a hard drive inserted via the front flip down panel. There is no need to open the box to access the inside just slide it in the front.

They use 2.5" (Laptop) type HDD.

Recomended manufacturers HDDs WD, Seagate & Samsung 80 / 120 GB 2.5" IDE drive giving you 40/60 hours worth of recording.

i have inserted the hard drive but i still cannot pause or record, do i have do do something else or should it work automatically.

Take the Hard drive out switch the box off (switch at the back of box). Insert hard drive and switch the box back on. Should be ok

I received my hard drive for the Eurovox 5000 PVR. I am not at all technical. Could you please advise me how to install this. I did insert it in the front but nothing happened and when I pressed PVR on the remote control it said hard drive is full or not installed. Please help.

You need to carry out a recording or pause live TV for it to work. This is a very common problem.

I had the same problem with the eurvox hdd not working sent it back and got a new one it is still the same with the new one put it in tonight and no joy can you help me
